I am wrapping up an engine rebuild for my 90' NA 2+2. One thing that I still have questions about is the oil pressure check ball or balls. They are pressed into the block behind the oil filter adapter housing. The nissan manual has a picture that only shows one check ball valve installed. When I tore my motor down, it had two; one of which had failed possibly leading to my spun rod bearing. I asked the dealer, and they told me it does take two, one in each hole. But you all know how hit and miss tech advice is from the dealerships. I went ahead and installed both check balls but thought I better double check this before I fire it up. Has anybody dealt with this area before and what advice do you have for me.
